Hatteras Yachts M60

Perhaps the most important area of the M60 for is the fly bridge which gives the captain the chance to be a part of the fun as this is most likely where guests will congregate. Behind the two comfortable helm chairs is a large U-shaped sofa with two teak tables, an electric grill, and an ice maker. While the hardtop and the isinglass curtains protect guests from the elements if needed, there is also an open space that can either be used for extra chairs or a hydraulic davit and tender. And of course the captain and everyone on the bridge will enjoy the air conditioning and heating system that keeps the temperature to your preference.

The aft deck is another great gathering place with its C-shaped couch, teak table, and chairs. This is a perfect outside dining area just aft of the salon for evenings where the flying bridge isn’t an option, but guests want to be outside. Hatteras designers left a little more overhang from the bridge up above to provide extra protection and shade to anyone using the aft deck space.

The salon is massive, particularly for a motor yacht in the 60-foot range. With lots of natural light and the inviting fabrics used in the salon, the Hatteras M60 gives owners the feeling of being at home while on the water. There is a L-shaped couch on the port side with opposing seating on the starboard side. A flat screen television is inside the starboard cabinet which also has a Bose surround sound system. Moving forward from the salon is the open galley and dining area which has plenty of space for multiple cooks and someone doing the dishes at the same time. There are five refrigerated drawers, dishwasher, ceramic cooktop, and all of the countertops are stone.

Owners and guests aboard will enjoy the accommodations layout which has three-staterooms and two heads. The full-beam master suite is placed aft and includes a king-size walk-around berth with night tables on both sides. Windows from the port and starboard side allow for natural light into the room. The master suite head has a walk-in shower and features marble countertops which highlight the other décor. The VIP suite features a queen-sized berth with plenty of storage and a private entrance into the second head which it shares with the adjacent guest stateroom.
