Trent comes to United Yacht with 29 years in the marine industry. He grew up boating on the Chesapeake Bay. He worked his early years as a waterman and commercial fisherman on the Chesapeake and coastal waters north of Cape Hatteras. While working these offshore waters he noticed beautiful yachts heading south to the islands for the winter. That was the end of his commercial fishing career.

He has been a licensed, professional yacht captain since 1981 and has over one hundred and fifty thousand bluewater miles behind him. His captaining experience has been in large sailing vessels and motor yachts on a world wide basis for private owners as well as charters. Trent has overseen several new constructions and refits in France, Spain, British Virgin Islands, US Virgin Islands, Brasil, California and Florida.

Trent has been trained as a yacht surveyor. He has owned his own company for many years that specializes in yacht management. He uses these skills when helping his clients find the right vessel for them.

After many years in the yachting and charter industry he has acquired the knowledge and expertise of matching clients with not just the right cruising area, but also with the right boat to fit each owners personal needs and wants.
