The journey of Regal yachts began in Western Ohio and then on to Evansville, Wisconsin. After a few years in Wisconsin, Duane, Tim and Pamela’s parents moved them all to Orlando, Florida where Mom and Dad discovered they wanted to start their own business. With a ton of thought, prayers and much needed consideration, they ended up taking out their life savings with a few additional investments and decided to start their own boating company. You may ask, how did they get the name Regal? Well, Mr. and Mrs.’s Kuck researched for some time and decided on the name Regal, a name that would reflect the essence of quality and royalty. From the start, Regal Yachts was a family business, and has hopes to stay that way. In today’s date, Regal is now one of the largest family-owned and operated boat manufacturing companies in the world. They have factories in Orlando, Florida and as well as in Valdosta, Georgia. Altogether they have approximately 650,000 square feet of manufacturing space and well over 700 employees, all brought together to build some of the best yachts in the world.
